I have never listened to Nightsound's music before I picked up this CD. One of the members had scored for a film project I worked on. I had also missed a live performance by the band. So while I may have been partially obliged to get this CD as a show of support, I was pleasantly surprised by what I thought was a strong showing of melodic pop/rock with strong emotional overtones done right. Definitely one of those CDs that I pull out to listen to time and time again. Sample some of the tracks here @ www.nightalive.com
