Heart (1985)

'Alone' is one of my favorite songs by Heart, but it's not on this album. Instead, songs like 'These Dreams', 'Never' and 'What About Love' introduced me to the band.

Jody Watley (1987)

This was one of my earlier cassettes. I remembered my mom commenting that her hair was messy when she saw the album cover. 'Looking for a New Love' was what drew me to this album. It also included other classics like 'Don't You Wan't Me' and the catchy duet with George Michael, 'Learn to Say No'.

Tango in the Night (1987) - Fleetwood Mac

I had thought Fleetwood Mac was a guy when I first saw the 'Big Love' MTV. It was a song I fell in love with immediately, what with Stevie Nick's sexy background vocals on the song. Of course, the album also boasted great tracks like 'Little Lies', 'Seven Wonders' and 'Everywhere'.

Coming Around Again (1987) - Carly Simon

'Coming Around Again' was the song that introduced me to Carly Simon. This was one of my earliest cassettes.

Glitter (2001) - Mariah Carey

Underrated album with great updates of 'Last Night a DJ Saved My Life' and 'I Really Didn't Mean to Turn You On'.

E=MC² (2008) - Mariah Carey

Lots of smooth grooves on this one.

B'Day (Deluxe Edition) (2007) - Beyoncé

I was so glad I got this. It's got lots of new songs packed into this re-release plus 12 MTVs!

天空 (1994) - 王靖雯

I listen to English pop more than anything else. This was one of those rare occasions that I tried something different and liked it. The emotional hooks and lovely melodies is what got me to love this album. Enough for me to get her subsequent album, which I didn't enjoy as much tho.

Why Worry (1986) - Nana Mouskouri

Soothing.

The E.N.D. (Deluxe Edition) (2009) - The Black Eyed Peas

Never cared much for the Peas, until a fren passed me this album. Took me a while, but this turned out to be an album I really digged. On top of the main CD, I really loved some of the remixed tracks, especially 'Shut The Phunk Up'.
